Spacent provided Wolt with a temporary office solution during the headquarters relocation

As a technology company based in Helsinki, Wolt knows that business continuity requires flexibility and readiness for quick changes. In the summer of 2023, Wolt got to test this in practice when their own headquarters was out of use for three weeks due to an office relocation. As a solution, Wolt turned to Spacent’s workspace network and provided their employees with flexible interim spaces throughout the Helsinki metropolitan area.

Wolt had been using Spacent’s service since spring 2022, primarily in locations where they did not have their own office. On the threshold of the summer 2023 office move, Wolt decided to utilize Spacent’s space offerings during their headquarters relocation. This way, there was no need for a single temporary space, and employees could use the familiar service and spaces.

 

Spacent offered an alternative to working from home for the entire staff in the Helsinki area, and the reception was positive from the very beginning. A large number of Wolt employees utilized Spacent’s spaces during the three weeks, demonstrating Spacent’s ability to meet significant change needs. Eetu Ristaniemi from Spacent talks about the service: “Special situations or disruptions during moves are very typical use cases for our service. We have a ready network and can arrange the necessary capacity for organizations of all sizes, even on a few days’ notice. In Wolt’s case, the starting point was also good because some of the staff were already active Spacent users.”

The collaboration continues, and for example Wolt has taken a satellite office in Tampere through Spacent in the spring 2024.
